A Fortune 100 company had experienced high growth due to its strength in manufacturing and R&D. Marketing needed to significantly improve its capabiity to maintain growth and gain share in a saturated and increasingly competitive market. The need for training was acute as marketers had diverse backgrounds. They had come from different functions, were recruited from different companies and had varying skill sets.
A curriculum was developed to serve Marketing's biggest training needs globally. Eight courses were developed and delivered across 30+ countries on topics ranging from marketing plan development to product development and integrated marketing communications.
Over 2,000 marketers were trained in the first year. The company increased its brand ranking, is now regarded as a strong marketer and has been able to attract stronger marketing talent.
